Overview
During this two-day course, attendees gain the knowledge necessary to lead a Lean-Agile enterprise by leveraging the Scaled Agile Framework® (SAFe®) and its underlying principles derived from Lean, systems thinking, Agile development, product development flow, and DevOps.
Participants in the Live class gain insights into mastering Business Agility in order to thrive in the competitive market. They discuss how to establish team and technical agility and organize and re-organize around the flow of value. They also learn and practice the skills for supporting and executing PI Planning events and coordinating multiple Agile Release Trains (ARTs). Participants in the class explore the importance of adopting a customer-centric mindset and design thinking approach to agile product delivery. Learners also develop an understanding of implementing a Lean Portfolio Management function in their enterprise.
Attending the class prepares individuals to take the exam and become a certified SAFe® Agilist (SA)

Exam
Certified Scaled Agile Framework Leading SAFe® 5.0 Exam information
The exam for the Leading SAFe® course is called SAFe 4 Agilist Exam. It’s a web-based exam that is provided by Scaled Agile. The fee for the exam in included in this course even though you do not do it with us. Successful completion of the exam will give you a one-year membership to the SAFe® Community Platform, which includes access to the SA Community of Practice. The exam can be taken up to 30 days after completing the course. The exam consists of:
- 45 Multiple Choice Questions
- 76% Pass mark (34 out of 45)
- 90 minutes
- Closed book
Those who wish to sit the examination must have:
- Five or more years’ experience in software development, testing, business analysis, product, or project management
- Scrum Experience is advised
- Candidates must have attended an accredited Leading SAFe® course prior to taking the exam
